Yuan x Martel from Tales of Symphonia. Even though Yuan is distressed after thousands of years that Martel is no longer alive, he accepts that Mithos’ plans to resurrect her are not what she would have wanted and that she should be allowed to rest peacefully. He loves her so much that he’s willing to sacrifice having her with him to do what she would think was right.
Anything Pokemon, always and forever. I know it’s super common for college kids to play Pokemon, but for some reason I always find that stigma of “you still play Pokemon?” whenever I mention it to someone. I love the Gameboy/DS games to pieces. My copy of Diamond has over 200 hours logged on it. I’m sure that I’ll be buying the new games for the rest of my life. It’s just such a great go-to game, it really is.
Definitely Runescape. Now I KNOW all of you are thinking of the countless hours spent farming woodcutting levels as a grade schooler, but the game is really a lot cooler than that. If you take time and pay attention to the quests (being a member really helps) the world is a huge, awesome pile of lore. In addition to that they recently added a new skill/thing called Dungeoneering, which you can do solo or with a group of people. It’s different every time you go in! I dunno, I just always loved the game and my toon and everything.
BESIDES, it’s a free game! You can’t really complain about free games, you know.
“I know things have been tough for you, but I’m going to pray very hard for you when I get to the Holy Land. I hope it’ll give you the strength you need to finish out this year and help you to make the right decision. Maybe you’ll even come home. I love you, remember that.”
Ugh Grandma you’re gonna make me cry in the middle of the library.
I would have to say Forcystus from Tales of Symphonia. The COOLEST villain of that game. P: ToS was (I think) the first huge RP community I got really into, and I played him and then my own OC. I MEAN HE’S JUST AWESOME OKAY, ENOUGH SAID.
